Hi there,

I work freelance and for some months of the year I'm twiddling my thumbs, when others are busy. When I piece of work, which isn't that uch TBH as I like being at dwelling house with my 2 year erstwhile old for now - he has a day at nursery, commonly once a week.

Anyway, what I wondered is when I want to earn a bit of extra cash, what jobs can y'all do and accept your child with you? I idea playgroups that kind of thing but don't know if they're paid or you accept to be checked etc.

Taking him along ways I can accept earning less than I unremarkably get, without having to worry it doesn't cover childcare, plus he could enjoy it?

Any suggestions please?

i have done this for a while, it's quite difficult to remain professional when you have your ain child in tow though!

I used to run play sessions for a children'south charity while taking dd with me. I got well and truly slated on here for doing so.

I loved doing it though only it is hard to work and remain proffessional with your own child. It was much easier then dd was able to go to school.

Thanks expat. I'd probably drink the takings! wink

The leaflet idea isn't bad though, equally nosotros could all become fresh air at the same fourth dimension. Thanks!

just seen your post twinset, funny the things you tin can get slated for... So did you donate a large per centum and proceed a bit to cover your costs and fourth dimension?

DH and DD1 like dogs, simply nosotros can't have 1 considering we're private renters, so they've turned a few extra bob at Xmas/Hogmanay interim equally substitute dog walkers and pet sitters when the usual ones like to have some fourth dimension off.

Information technology's not steady piece of work, merely if you were the usual walker it could be.

The charity employed me to plan, and run the groups. I was paid on an hourly charge per unit for my contact time and had to do my plannng and prep at dwelling.

I work as an agent for a company selling children's toys.

Taking children forth with me to events is no problem as oftentimes they are at toddler groups or nurserys. I also work in evenings and at weekends as my married man is able to treat the children then.

Mr Bates, I like it. Then I can file my nails whilst my son does the difficult stuff, he loves sweeping anyway. grin

Angela and Brid thanks, I'll probably drop you a private mail to chat more.
